Unfortunately, there is NO space for BJP, a national party, in A.P/Telangana Politics. And all parties, big (or) small, Pro-Telangana (or) Anti-Telangana, are keeping a big distance from BJP. I think, in recently concluded by-elections, they (all parties) strategically killed & demoralized the party by defeating BJP in Musheerabad inspite of its commitment to Telangana.
For example, If I take my native district, Nizamabad, where BJP had some good presence before 1999 elections, most of the BJP cadre/supporters and local leaders joined with Shri.A.Narendra and TRS party. Now Shri.Devender Goud and Shri. Chiranjeevi will chip in before 2009 elections. CPI & CPM are also garnering public support in some pockets of Nizamabad, like old-city in HYD.
Fortunately or Unfortunately in A.P/Telangana, You CAN'T ask votes on Hindu Religion (or) Hinduthva. Now Caste factor dominates A.P/Telangana Parties & Politics. Hence, it is in the best interests of TRS not to form alliance with BJP/NDA before 2009 elections. After election, If required, TRS can have a strategic partnership with BJP/NDA.
To be realistic, TRS can't be a big force (win 30+ MLA & 5+ MP seats) without an alliance with big parties - TDP or CONGRESS!. And DON'T expect a miracle - uniting all Telangana Parties to form a Political Front, We are not yet that matured in Politics. Our Telangana Parties are still new-borns/Infants/Toddlers in Political environment. They need more time than we got (few months to go for 2009 general elections) to mature. TRS can not build the Congress (or) TDP type cadre & leaders at Grass-root level in few months, before 2009 general elections.
Hence, TRS has to do their homework - build strategy, create political compulsions, pouch Big Party leaders/cadre, etc. - to form an alliance with TDP (or) Congress with a WIN-WIN approach for 2009 general elections.

Even if TRS, NTPP, TRS(N), etc. form an alliance, together they can not match to the type of CADRE and ORGANIZATIONAL STRENGTH (in terms of resources & management) Congress Party and TDP possess and face the most expensive election ever(to be) contested in A.P/Telangana. It's politically pragmatic & wise thinking to join hands with Congress Party (or) TDP to achieve our Goal - Separate Telangana State! We should not under-estimate our opponents' strength. Instead, If possible tactfully leverage their strength to achieve our goal. Enemy's enemy is our friend - it's 200% true in Politics!
Why Telangana Parties keep a big distance from BJP? - Because these Telangana parties source(d) their CADRE & LEADERSHIP from BJP only (b/n 1999-2004, in the term when BJP had an unholy marriage with TDP ignoring the Telangana promise and their own party's fate/growth in Telangana). There is nothing much left in Telangana BJP party (to offer to potential alliance partner) other than 3-4 grand old faces, who themselves can not win (MLA/MP) without other party support (which has been proved to an extent in recent by-elections, where their strong candidate, Shri.Laxman garu lost Musheerabad MLA seat).
TRS should not form alliance with BJP before 2009 elections. Instead TRS has to build strategies to create a compulsive political environment (tactfully using weeknesses in Congress & TDP, their need to stay/get in power in State & Centre, etc.) for Congress Party and TDP to beg for alliance and garner considerable MLA & MP seats in 2009 elections. Then play a decisive role in the prospective coalition governments in the State & Centre and untimately achieve the Separate Telangana State, which is a political process and has to pass through State Assembly and Central Parliament. We have no option but to work with parties like Congress and TDP in the State and all other parties in Centre.
We have to be Tactful in Politics to get what we want - Telangana State! Win-Win Approach and Give and Take Policy only works in Politics & Negotiations. Presently, we are on a negotiation table/situation with Congress Party (or) TDP to get Telangana State.
Dear Friends, one thing we sould not forget is about 50 % of our fellow Telangana voters/people are with Congress Party & TDP and we are not in War with anybody. We are seeking/demanding a Separate Telangana State to have a self-rule of our own within the Indian Union. We need to work with Congress Party and TDP to get want we want - Separate Telangana State!

BJP is not a party of integrity. They say what they never commit for and they commit for what they never say. Their love for Telangana is not so serious. BJP is lead by Advani, who firmly believe that Telangana is not necessary as state capital itself is in telangana. Venkaiah Naidu is anti-telangana to the core. They took up the issue to make Telangana people as stairs to the power at Delhi. After that, they dumps us like what they did in the past. BJP is for Nuclear Deal. They will implement it in toto if they come into power. But now
for petty political ends they opposing the deal. They do opposing things and they never do proposing things. So dear Telangana brothers, don't fall prey to BJP.

When BJP was in power at the center, TD was part of NDA. So BJP couldn't declare Telangana as chief minister of Andhra Pradesh was against it. You say BJP was not party of integrity. Can you name one party that has integrity? No party has integrity. It is people of India who lack integrity and therefore they elect leaders of no integrity. Yada Praja thada Raja.
Congress, TD, TRS and all other parties except BJP are giving into demands of minorities. BJP wants uniform civil code for India. No other party does.
I believe Telangana will not come if we ally with TD for sure.

Miracles happens only Telangana supported parties and organizations,people join togather to form a united telangana front. But big problem is how we coordinates these guys. But I think, co-ordination happens when time comes, but people of telangana should vote for telangana vaadam irrpective of the telangana party.

KCR predicts and I believe to a large extent that there may be a non-Congress & non-BJP government in centre after 2009 elections. Small/Regional Party Coalition (give whatever name you want - third front, UNPA, left-front, united front, etc) might form the 2009 government, Mayawathi ji might be a future PM, BJP might give a outside support if required as they did to Shri.V.P.Singh's National Front Govt.
Hence, it is in best interests of TRS & Telangana to keep a distance from BJP until 2009 elections, If possible with Congress too.

There are only two national parties today, Congress and BJP. Mayavati may become prime minister. For that to happen she has to have support of one of the two above.
I don't understand why so many are against BJP. Vajpai was one of the best leaders India produced. BJP is not perfect but it has less faults than any other party today. BJP is openly for Telangana state. Congress and TD are openly against Telangana state. Why we want to have any thing to do with parties that are opposed to Telangana state?
If Dave Goud, KCR, Narendra are inerested in Telangana state they will support BJP, otherwise they are either misguided or their main goal is not Telangana state. UNPA will not have nay chance to win at the center. Manmohan singh and Advani are not corrupt where as Mayavati is. Why do any wish Mayavati to become prime minister of India? Do we have no principles? I respect people of India but still I think we have to say what is true about them. They elct corrupt leaders. So it is their own fault.

If BJP is communal, why not TDP which had alliance with it?
Why not Congress which had alliance with MIM in Hyd. and in Kashmir ? Which wants to have reservations to Muslims on communal basis (for communal vote bank)?
If Indians do not need any body’s certification for their integrity then why BJP needs any body’s certification for its integrity?
Indian people voted for BJP (with alliance) to rule them once, which is true. If some body says Indians have integrity, that means BJP also has integrity.
BJP think about India along with Telangana, but TDP, TRS etc, etc are thinking only about Telangana for good or bad sake. BJP proved that non-Congress with non-Gandhi family can be ruled this great country full 5 year term for which they had sacrify of Telangana issue for 5 years. I support and appreciate them and let Telangana statewood may be 5 year more late (from 1999 because of BJP). JD might have ruled 4+ years with 5 PMs.
If any body can not trust BJP, how could any body trust Congress (cheated in 2004), TRS allies with Congress with no confirmed agreement with it, joined ministry in both places, came out and now looking for allies with any party but not BJP. (It was almost dead after local body elections, if not Sri Rajnath Singh wouldn’t have came down to HYD and declaired and commited to Telangana statewood, as a Party national chief. KCR went BJP office and rounded their shaal around his neck as Soniaji did with TRS shaal in 2004 elections).
Can any body asure Telangana statewood if they have more than 60assembly and 10 MPs from Telangana region? I can’t. Is it enough to form Telangana stste, if Assembly passes resolution and Parliament doesn’t introduce bill? OR other way around is enough?
Can any body form Telangana state with out Congress and BJP support? So many ifs and buts are talking by many people like if Telangana vaada parties get some 10 MPs and if neither BJP nor Cong gets full majority in Parliament and if they need support of these 10 MPs only to form Govt. etc, etc. and if they come down to HYD (either to parade grounds and Nizam college grounds and beg these 10 MPs by offering Telangana state in a plate to Telangana people) and so on and so on…
“My “if” is what about if Cong and BJP support each other if no body supports either of them?
“We do not need presidency for every thing” BJP is not that week in AP, they might lost some of their cadre but they might come back at one stage or at any time. How about jumping from 2 MP seats to 200 MP seats in earlier experience? How about falling down of majority from 2 lacks + to 15 thousands in about 2 years?
What is communal? Who is communal? What is communism? Every thing is a way of living.
Several people know about Russian rulers before and after Russian revolution. Several people know the down fall of Russia , disappearance of RED color in eastern European countries and also know the appearance of RED color in Latin American countries, directly or indirectly.
Nothing is untouchable and no one is untouchable.
No matter who is with whom in alliance, I strongly feel that BJP lead govt. will be in the central and they will form Telangana state.

Congress party has betrayed the Telangana peole. They have cheated the Telangana cause.
The best case scenario for the people of Telangana is that TRS wins the assembly elections from the Telangana region and BJP wins the Lok Sabha elections from the Telangana region. Then only the dream of separate Telangana state will materialize.
Thus I would say, be smart and vote for TRS in state elecions and BJP in national elections.
